The Idea of a Just Syllabus: Collecting, Organizing, and Sharing Knowledge as Cooperation and Empowerment
The Syllabus and Curriculum are forms of knowledge that enable all people to equip themselves with the necessary skills to actively change society. The syllabi presented below are ones which I have formed myself and ones which I share because of their importance and as objects the syllabus forms from a commons which doesn't have a single author because it aims to help everyone. This way syllabi are living open knowledge repositories and archives and to engage with them is to dream of transforming "the way young people learn about history by emphasizing the actions of ordinary people who made extraordinary contributions to liberation movements." (Quoted from the Martin Luther King, Jr. Research and Education Institutes Liberation Curriculum website)
