Pteron Press is an experimental media press focusing on the most advanced and fringe type publishing. Timo Tuhkanen is the founder and editor-in-chief. Pteron Press division Ever Books focuses on traditional narrative styles and translated literature.
We have published prose, photography, poetry, art, music and translations, our books are available in several different languages and has published books by Jukka-Pekka Kervinen, Matt Margo, Max Peake, Suvadeep Das, Patrick Trotti, Stephen Moles, Francesco Paolo Oddo, Giorgio Vasta, David Flood, David Brock, Alina Werrick, Anneli Nygren, Janne Nabb + Maria Teeri (nabbteeri), Keith Higginbotham, Heikki Räisänen, Egle Oddo.and Otso Kantokorpi.
Our publishing focus is on new media and online publishing, but we publish special editions, artists books, and hand made books in limited numbers, often these do not make it online.
We are physically based in Helsinki and Palermo.
