[A People with No Poetry Is a Defeated People] is a 3 hour ambisonic sound/music performance by Timo Tuhkanen, created to be part of Codzienne formy oporu [Everyday Forms of Resistance] assembly. It is also an artist research project about Ramallah, Palestine. The work is included in the collaborative exchange program by Ujazdovski Castle Centre for Contemporary Art (Poland), HIAP - Helsinki International Artist Programme (Finland), AiR Antwerpen (Belgium), and the Ramallah Municipality (Palestine). The artistic work was supported by the Ramallah Municipality and The Arts Promotion Centre Finland.
The project results includes 5 copies of a 1 hour limited edition C-tape.
